Southampton Beach Session; Hamptons Family Photographer
Summer, oh how I love summer and how I love the beach and how I love photography. What better way to spend the afternoon than at a southampton beach. There are so many beaches, but my favorite is Little Plains.
I arrived at Felices Southampton home, just after her kids arrived from camp. The twin girls had a snack and we all got into the car and drove to the beach. What is so nice about southampton beach is that is is only five minutes from practically everywhere. It is so easy to just make a quick stop there any time of the day (during the week that is) Weekend days it can be impossible to get a parking spot or even find a place to lock your bike. But during the week and especially late in the afternoon the beach is empty, its ours and it is one of my favorite spots ever.
Barefoot and shovels in hand, these girls, this day; the epitome of summer, of freedom, and fun.

There is so much I love about the beaches in the Hamptons. If you ask me they are the nicest in the world. Although the water may be a bit cold, and it is hard to get into, especially if you go in slowly. You gotta jump in fast, and once you do, it feels so good. On this day I was prepared; I had my underwater casing and my swim shirt on. I was excited to get the girls in action in the waves, but that day waves were a bit rough. I usually have no problem wiping out in a wave, but not when I have my camera in hand, so at the first close call, I got out as fast as a could, camera and all!
These girls are hysterical, Felice is like a big sister herself, burying her kids in the sand, chases them down the beach and doing hand stands with them. I loved spending a few hours with these awesome ladies at the beach.
On a side note, Jessie and Chloe don’t look much alike, but Jessie, looks just like I did when I was little. My son saw her photo and thought the same thing, then he proclaimed he was going to marry Jessie that he only wants to marry someone like his mom!!! I thought that was pretty funny.
